A cast copper alloy miniature object in the shape of a bird dating to the Late Iron Age or early Roman period. The bird has an oval body which is D shaped in section. On the upper surface of the body, a curved, circular section neck extends and tapers to form the beak. The eyes of the bird picked out as incised dots. From the underside of the body, there extends a circular section attachment loop. The object has a dark green to brown patina and its surface is pitted with corrosion in places. It has a height of 21mm, a length of 23mm and a width of 11mm.
