Incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy unidentified object in the form of an acorn with flat reverse and convex front. Decoration consists of cross-hatched engraving on the cap and fine longitudinal engraving on the base of the nut. There is a recent break across the base of the cap. No means of attachment are extant. Length >25mm. Width 16mm. Thickness 2.5mm. Perhaps 17th century.
