POST MEDIEVAL BUCKLE

A miniature cast silver annular buckle of Post-Medieval date (AD 1500 - AD 1600). Length: 9.7mm; width: 9.5mm and 1.5mm thick. Weight: 0.59g.The buckle is transversely corrugated at the front but flat and plain at the rear. The frame narrows to form a constriction for the pin, now missing. Treasure case no. 2008 T586.
