Prophet Yusuf predicting seven lean years for Egypt's harvests, from Yusuf and Zulaykha by Hamdullah Chelebi (d. 1509). Identifiable by his fiery halo, the young Prophet Yusuf (or Joseph, in Christian tradition) stands before the Pharaoh, and predicts that Egypt's harvests will be bad for seven years in a row. Despite the location of the story, this royal garden scene is painted in the distinctive mode of Iran.
