A visit with S.J. Perelman, the greatest American humorist, at his home in Bucks County, PA, for a discussion on subject ranging from writing for a living to his reactions to the critics, his impressions of other American authors, including his late brother-in-law, the American novelist Nathanael West ("Miss Lonelyhearts," "A Cool Million," etc.), and on the changing literary scene. S.J. Perelman's pieces appear regularly in such periodicals as The New Yorker, and have been published in collections. He wrote many of the funniest of the Marx Brothers films and received an Oscar for his screenplay for "Around the World in Eighty Days." USA Writers - S.J.
