The Portable Antiquities Scheme

A copper alloy possible miniature Roman votive sword. The blade of the sword tapers to a point and has transverse incised line decoration on both sides. The blade is thicker than other examples on the database and is rectangular is section. There is a rectangular guard and the handle (which has broken) is smaller and also rectangular in section. The sword has a length of 22mm and a width of 4.9mm, and is 4.3mm thick. It weighs 2.01g. The most similar example on the database is NLM-6CB860.
