Incomplete Anglo-Scandinavian copper alloy strap-end, Thomas' (2003) Multi-headed Class B, Type 4, broken at beginning of split attachment-end, worn relief decoration comprises two skulls or skull-like heads jaw-to-jaw above a simple stylised animal-head terminal. 10 x >42mm. Cf. Drawing of a buckle plate with similar decoration of two skulls from Elsing, Norfolk (HER 40644). 10th century.
