A two edged microlithic flake which may have been adapted to become a piercer. It has been retouched at the distal end of the dorsal face to accommodate an index finger and to use as a piercer or line drawing point. It may have been hafted. The ventral face has no retouch. The pointed end has a slight twist to suggest the action of an awl. There is some serration in the area of the point. The flint is light grey to white in colour, with tertiary cortex and was likely derived from a local beach pebble.Bond has a similar example on Page 114. Figure 5.98. No L37
