Medieval coin; Struck silver penny of Edward III, fourth coinage, post-treaty period dated to 1369-1377. Durham mint. Initial mark is indistinct but seems to be a cross fourchee. Struck hard so the cross shows through on the obverse. Obverse portrait quite worn. Obverse also off-set so the bottom of the design is missing from the coin.Obv. Portrait of the king, facing. Cannot tell whether there is anything on the breast as that area is missingEDVARDVS[REX ANG]LIERev. Long cross pattee which divides the legend. Three pellets in each quadrant.
