A Roman copper alloy votive model miniature axe-head (43-410AD). The axe-head flares from the flat butt to the curved blade edge. There are moulded grooves along the sides. A similar example was found in Essex, PAS database reference: ESS-819206. Excavated examples have most often been found in religious contexts. Dimensions: length: 25.68mm; width: 9.87mm; thickness: 4.67mm; weight: 5.04g.
