Medieval silver penny probably of Edward IV, first reign (1461-1470), Light coinage, minted at Durham under Bishop Lawrence Booth, Type V or VI variant, 1464-1466 AD, North 1602 or 1603. The B in the centre is only found on these coins of Edward IV, however the portrait is crude and it is missing the letters usually found by the neck and the initial mark is a cross pattee which does not fit with the usual series so it may be a contemporary copy or from local dies.
