Large and abnormally flimsy oval buckle frame formed from sheet. The bar is slightly narrowed, presumably by wear, in the centre. The wide outside edge and the adjacent parts of the sides are elaborately decorated with rocker-arm engraving in zig-zags between curving lines. Dimensions 35.4 x 47.5mm, with thickness 0.7mm. Dates to the 14th - 15th century.
