Oval buckle frame with tapering strip pin in paler green patinated alloy decorated with two transverse grooves near loop, offset, narrowed bar protruding slightly at sides, and decoration on rounded outside edge consisting of a pair of punched ring-and-dots and five short oblique lines of finely engraved interrupted rocker-arm engraving giving the appearance of tiny addorsed triangles. Dimensions of 14 x 24mm. Dates to the 13th - 14th century.
