Post medieval cast lead alloy miniature vessel - a toy two-handled posset pot (multi-handled mug or tankard); probably 17th century. Cylindrical vessel with out-turned plain rim and base - both rim and base are damaged. The body is decorated with a wide band (width 7.7mm) of cross-hatching, with a narrower plain band below (width 2.8mm). The rim and base are undecorated. One of the vertical rectangular loop handles survives (external length 6.5mm, width 2.9mm, thickness 1.8mm) on the decorated panel of the body; the other, on the opposite side, is broken off, leaving two scars. A casting seam runs down either side of the vessel, in line with the handles - it is not visible across the base. Cream patina with some mid-grey surface. Length (height) 21.6mm, diameter of body 18.4mm, maximum diameter including broken rim & base (not original diameter of rim) 22.6mm, internal diameter of body c.15.5mm, thickness of metal at rim c.1.0mm, thickness of metal at base c.1.3mm, thickness of metal of body c.1.3mm, weight 11.79g.
