Incomplete Medieval composite three-part strap-end, tongue-shaped front plate only, damaged attachment edge with remains of grooved aperture between part of one of originally two rivet-holes. Decorated with elaborate engraving comprising remains of four longitudinally conjoined crosses lozengy reserved on lozengiform fields of rocker-arm, between pairs of vertical pecked bordering lines, outline of missing forked spacer in solder on filed reverse, fragment of lozengiform terminal, 20 x >48mm.
