Copper-alloy seal matrix, a pointed oval measuring 32 x 20 mm. On the reverse is a raised rib ending in a pierced lug. The engraving on the front is worn. The central motif, originally deeply engraved, is a tonsured figure with hand raised, standing in front of an altar with a chalice on it. The inscription around is badly worn and now hard to read. A partial possible reading is + S'. GILI. - - - RI - . MIPR - -.. - - - - A translation would start Seal of Gilbert, but the rest of the inscription is now unintelligible.
