A post medieval cast copper alloy winding key for a clock. The handle is flat and is decorated with engraving and punched dots. There are two large apertures. The hollow oval-section stem has three collars along its length. The terminal bit is bifurcated.Similar examples of clock keys have been recorded on the PAS database, eg nos: SUR-CD2308, SUR-17CEC6, GLO-293444, SOM-E22CA1.
