Incomplete cast copper alloy object of unknown function. The object has a main arm or shank, oval in cross-section, and tapering to an axe-shaped terminal. The terminal is not sharp, rather it remains fairly thick and rounded. The entire object is quite thick and more reminiscant of a brooch terminal rather than a miniature axe. The shank tapers from 7mm thick to 4mm thick at the terminal. The surface of the object has a dark grey patina, with random patches of indentations revealing copper corrosion.
