Skulptur föreställande mansfigur iklädd romersk rustning. Huvudet pryds av en lagerkrans som avtecknar sig mot ett stort snäckskal. Ansiktet med den rynkade pannan är slätrakat. Figuren är iförd thoraxrustning med en utmed ryggen nedhängande mantel. Manteln är draperad i en smal sträng snett över bröstet, och sitter fästad med ett spänne på höger skuldra. Figurens huvud och överkropp är helt vridna mot vänster, underkroppen endast till hälften. Benen är frontalställda. Höger arm hålls vinkelrätt böjd över bröstet. Kroppstyngden vilar på höger ben, medan vänster ben hålls böjt. Upptill är bakstycket framdraget i en enkel, rektangulär "huvudplatta". Figuren står på en sockel, som framtill pryds av en djurmaskaron, ett groteskt lejonansikte eller dylikt. Maskaronen har spetsiga rovdjurständer och rundade öron. På sockelns mitt finns en banderoll med en namninskription. Bokstäverna R och O är tydligt skönjbara på höger del av bandet, medan bokstäverna på bandets vänstra del är utplånade. Skulpturens baksida är rak och uppvisar tre snedställda, olika djupt liggande fält. De tre fälten, som utgör anliggningsytor, ger skulpturen en trappstegsformad profil. Skulpturen är mycket sliten. Figurens högra hand är kraftigt skadad. Vänster arm med vidhängande del av manteln saknas. Text in English: Sculpture representing a male figure wearing Roman armour. The figure has a laurel-wreathed head, set against a large sea shell. The face is clean-shaven and the forehead wrinkled. The figure is wearing thorax armour, with the mantle hanging down the back and draped across the chest from the right shoulder to the left side of the waist in a narrow swathe. The head and upper part of the body are turned wholly, the lowwer part of th ebody halfway, to the left. The legs are posed frontally. The right arm is held bent at a right angle cross the chest; its hand is badly damaged. The left arm and the part of the mantle that covers it has fallen off. The body rests on the right leg while the left is bent. The upper part of the back extends upwards in a simple, rectangular "head board". The figure stands on a plinth which is decorated by a grotesque mask, reminiscent of a lion head with teeth and rounded ears. In the centre of the plinth is a broad label with a name inscription. As we view it from the front no letters can be seen on the left but the letters R and O are clearly visible to the right. The sculpture''s back has three obliquely placed flat surfaces of different depths, that are areas of attachment. The flat surfaces make the sculpture looks like a step-ladder in profile. The sculpture is badly worn. The figure''s right hand is badly damaged. The left arm and the part of the mantle which covers it is missing.
