Dating based on Neupert's daguerreotype activity in Christiania seen in his newspaper ads. Before taking up photography Neupert had a business selling womens capes (?) as well as artificial flowers whcih he advertised in newspapers until as late as 1844.

The Liverpool Studio mentioned on the case lid opened in 1849 (by Richard Beard Junior) so the date must naturally be 1849 or later (information provided by G. Batchen) Very skilfully and richly colored. Bought in London 1985. The lid is detatched from the tray (damage). Meget pent kollorert. Kjøpt i London 1985. Lokket er løsnet fra brettet.
