Medieval cast copper alloy miniature annular brooch with decorative frame13th/14th century. Frame made up of 6 oval swellings decorated with numerous irregularly placed incuse dots, with a narrowed transverse ridge between each (two ridges between the two swellings opposite the pin, forming a groove to take the pin); constriction to take the wire pin, which is broken off just after the loop. The frame is flat and undecorated on the reverse. Fine mid green patina. Diameter 16.3mm, thickness 2.8mm, weight 1.68g.
