Cast copper alloy miniature radiate-headed brooch with three knops projecting from edge of the semi-circular headplate, two of which are missing. Decorated with a row of dots punched around outer edge of headplate, bow and foot. The bow has a triangular cross-section. The foot is sub-rectangular with a semi-circular projection either side at the junction with the bow. There is a single perforated lug, slightly off-centre, on the reverse of the headplate, with the corroded remains of the iron spring attached. The incomplete catchplate projects from the upper part of the back of the footplate. Similar to a brooch from Grimston, Norfolk (HER no. 13800; Ashley and Rogerson 1992, p. 361-2).
