Roman lead alloy disc miniature axe head, 19mm long, 12mm wide and 7mm thick. The axe is in fair condition and weighs 6.13grams. The object has a slightly flared sub rectangular blade with a triangular section. This is attached to a sub circular sectioned, rectangular shaped, shaft.. This has a circular hole running through its centre and where it joins the blade it steps deeply. The object has been roughly cast and has scratches across its surface.
