Cast copper alloy miniature socketed spearhead.The spearhead is lozenge shaped and socketed shaft formed by a single rolled over strip of copper alloy. The lower part of the shaft is decorated with three incised bands, and the tip of the spear is decorated with two incised transverse lines.This form of spearhead is also known from Baalons-Bouvellmont in the Ardennes, and Baldock in England.Miniature spears are difficult to date although they are thought to range from circa 400BC to the mid-late 1st century AD.
