A plain medieval lead ampulla (miniature phial). The ampulla is flat and flask shaped with a small suspension lug on either side. The upper parts of the lugs are slightly pointed. The mouth of the ampulla, where the thaumaturgic water would have been added, is slightly damaged and shows signs of having been folded over to seal it. The whole object is covered in a layer of off-white corrosion. There is some indistinct decoration on one face, but it is not recognisable. The other side has a faint groove which forms a circular rim around the lower (round) part of the object.
