The pectoral picture of Wilhelm Beer (1797-1850), who was valued primarily for his performance as an amateur astronomer, to the semi-left. In addition, the banker was also politically and publicist, engaged in the Armenian and the railway companies that emerged from 1838. He drew a moon map, a crater on Mars is named after him and for his achievements he received numerous awards such as the Dannebrog Order, which he carries on the portrait, the French Lalande Prize in 1836 together with Johann Heinrich von Mädchen, later the Swedish Wasa Order and the Golden Medal of Honor for Art and Science.
