David Gishler, 25, points to a sign in the lobby of Detroit's City-County building where he and his bride-to-be, Julia Morgan, 64, went yesterday to apply for a marriage license. Gishler and Mrs. Morgan met in a cafe where she plays the piano. She has been married twice, has a son, 42, a daughter, 44, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Gishler makes $40 a week as a truck loader. Julia proposed, she said, because it is leap year.

With astonishing rapidity, the mind is flooded with bizarre images and the senses sometimes register unusual messages in which sound is seen, and color is heard. The hallucinations have made some cower in fear or become violent in fighting some imaginary threat. In this drawing, the artist seeks to capture some of the imagery of the hallucinatory experience. It is an illustration in the Food and Drug Administration pamphlet "LSD: The False Illusion."
