Two families make merry in spite of the circumstances as they wait for the sun to set at their camp along the Missouri river before resuming their journey. They are members of the Perry Kotterman and Lloyd Taylor families who are moving their cattle and possessions from Trail City, S.D., in the drought area. They cover about 30 miles a day on their slow journey.
