Teen-aged gang

These are the members of the teen-aged gang accused in the brutal killing of David Jenkins, 51, and the bloody beating of Jenkins' tenant, Frank Stevens, 41. Left to right- Cyril Holmes, 17; James Ford, 16; James Needham, 16; William Hindley, 18; Ronald Abersold, 16; and Robert Neely, 14. Police said the gang beat Stevens to a bloody pulp when he was on his way home Saturday night. When Jenkins set out to find the youths, police charge Hendley and Abersold jumped him and kicked him even after he was unconscious. Officers said Abersold had metal cleats on his shoes.
