Strange Cargo in Harbor- the huge steel jacket of the Buzzards Bay offshore light tower is towed on pontoons down Boston Harbor enroute to its location at entrance to Buzzards Bay. It will take about 14 hours to tow the jacket via the Cape Cod Canal to the site of operation. The finished tower will have steel legs driven down 261 feet below the ocean's floor to bed rock and the top of the finished tower will be 170 feet above sea level.
