Shot to death
August 2, 1961
The three children pictured above were shot to death by their father yesterday, according to sheriff's deputies, who said the father then wounded his wife and killed himself. The children were (l to r), Bobby, 3, and Candy and Randy, 18-month-old twins, children of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Newhart of nearby Morristown.
