Nine Men Marooned Here--Nine U.S. Coast Guardsmen have been marooned for 10-days in this lonely light-on St. George's reef, 14 miles northwest of here, by mountainous waves and winds up to 75 miles an hour. The men are not in any immediate danger, but are reported running short of food. The lighthouse is normally operated by a crew of three. On Nov.30 a three-man relief crew and three-man repair crew arrived. By nightfall when the coast guardsmen were ready to leave, heavy seas prevented them launching their cutter.
