Colonie, N.Y.- Miss Betty Jean Gorton, 22, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., beauty queen candidate, pleaded innocent, 12/15, to a 1st degree manslaughter charge in the death of her newborn child. Miss Gorton's father discovered the infant's body in suitcase in the Gorton's Poughkeepsie home 12/12. The baby was born in October 1959.
