New york....Walter thornton, well-known model agent, is flanked by his attorney philip handelman, (left) and detective edward murtagh, as he was booked at long island city police station. thornton was arrested today on charges of grand larceny, petty larceny and conspiracy. he's accused of fleecing proud parents and prospective models out of $600,000 in the last three years.
