Lina Medina, 28 (shown left in recent photo),became the world's youngest mother in 1939 at the age of 5 1/2. At present she is a secretary in Lima living a normal life. She is shown in 1941 file photo(R) when she was eight years old with her son, Gerardo, then 2 1/2. Today, Gerardo, 23, is studying to be an accountant.

Sanitation Workers Mob City Hall--Most of New York City's sanitation workers crowd outside City Hall today after a breakdown of negotiations between city officials and sanitation employes union, the Uniformed Sanitationmen's Assn. After voting to stop work in protest ever stalled contract talks, union members marched from their midtown meeting place, downtown to City Hall--snarling traffic with the sic-block line of march. Sanitations Commissioner Paull R. Screvane said that only about 25 percent of the usual work force of 5,000 showed up for work--the removal of about 8,000 tons of refuse at this time of year.
