Authorities disclosed that a 27-year-old Catholic Priest had been extensively questioned about the rape-slaying last April of 25-yr-old Irene Garza (shown in file photo). Authorities released this information as they filed a charge of assault with intent to rape against John B. Feit 8/5 in the attempted assault of a 20-yr-old girl three weeks prior to the murder of Miss Garza. The whereabouts of Feit, who at the time of the attacks was stationed at the Pastoral House of the Oblate Fathers at nearby San Juan, Tex., is unknown. But authorities say that Catholic officials were to bring Feit in to surrender 8/6.
