A handcuffed Henry F. Anderson, 32, of Worcester, is led into Worcester District Court (4/18) where he was ordered held without bail on two counts of murder in the ax-slaying of his foster mother and another woman. Anderson was charged in the slaying of Mrs. Aila Puskula, a teacher at the Thondike School -- and Mrs. Maria Putkisto of Holden, Mrs. Puskula's cleaning woman. Authorities say Mrs. Puskula was Anderson's foster mother.
