In imgin is Bordeiul from Drăghiceni, Olt County, built of wood around 1800 and transferred to the museum in 1949. This type of occupation of Neolithic tradition, semi-buried, is due to the harsh, steppe climate and the vast incursions of the Ottoman armies north of the Danube, in the Romanate Plain, until mid-nineteenth century. Archaic techniques are used for the construction: pit dug into the ground, insulated by burning, lined with massive furs of oak that make up the walls; but strong on the longitudinal axis of the construction mounted for the support of the main beam on which are fastened by tree trunks, forming the roof snake, left apparent inside the rooms; wraps made of successive layers of straw, straw and furnaces made from twins Bordeiul comprises in the plan three spaces: “gârliciul” in the slope, the equivalent of the tinde of the houses of the surface, “oceBorde” - the“in fire”- with the hearth free with chimney, and the living room, with the blind stove. The entrance, monumental, is decorated with carving motifs: rope, solar circle, horse heads.
