"Dimitrie Gusti" National Village Museum

In 1936 on May 17, in Bucharest - the Romanian capital - a village was born. A village - museum, which was received with interest by the personalities of the time, but also by King Charles II. It is located in the north of the capital, on the shore of Lake HerăEste u being the result of over 10 years of complex researches conducted by the Sociological School from Bucharest, led by Professor and Sociologist Dimitrie Gusti. The monuments are located according to geographical and historical criteria.
