Greetings Go Through-Doris Whitaker, 22-year-old polio victim, is too ill to write Christmas cards but with the help of amateur radio operators her friends back home in Somerset, Ky., are to hear her voice on Christmas eve and she is to hear theirs. Here Atlanta "hams", Olin Crabb (right) and C.W. Read record her voice from her bed in Grady Hospital. Wednesday afternoon, they are to broadcast the recording and it is to be picked up by Ivan Kelley's station W4TUT at Somerset where her friends will be gathered. They will return greetings, via radio, and their voices will be relayed to her by phone.
