Fantin-Latour, Henri, 1836-1904 · 1883
On the left is Klingsor. He is seated and has one hand on his book and is ready to rise. Kundry lies on the right, half reclining on the vapors. Her hair is scattered and she hides her forehead and her eyes with her folded arm. With her other arm she lifts a veil that floats behind her. Another drapery hides her right leg. (Wagner, Parsifal, act II)
