Geraldine Williams, rape solved

Michigan State Police announced early 5/6 that the 1/12/61 rape slaying of Geraldine Williams, 15, had been solved. Police said that 19-year-old Donald Jay Moon of rural Bangor, Mich., has signed a statement confessing that he killed Miss Geraldine Williams (file photo). Geraldine, 15, a junior high school girl was found in the basement of an abandoned farm house beaten to death. Geraldine was abducted 1/11/61 as she waited for a school bus on a rural road near her home.
