Ohio girl slain in West Germany

Ann Petersen, 22, of Cleveland, Ohio, missing since August on a hitch-hiking tour through Europe, was raped and slain, police of Karlsruhe, West Germany, said today. Body, found in a small forest adjacent to a highway, was identified by the girl's mother, Mrs. Mary Petersen, 60, by the clothing found with the body, police said.
