Jean Charles da Silva e de Menezes was a Brazilian man killed by London police officers at Stockwell station on 22 July 2005, after he was wrongly deemed to be a fugitive involved in failing bombing attempts the previous day. He had migrated to the UK in 2002. This mosaic memorial was unveiled in 2010 at Stockwell tube station.
