Navy Chief Warrant Officer Francis Beardsley takes a closeup look at the youngest member of his new family, Teresa, in the arms of her mother, the former Mrs. Helen North. Teresa is one of 18 children belonging to the couple by former marriages. He was a widower with 10 children, she a widow with eight. They were married in Carmel Mission before a crowd estimated at 600 people.
