Arthur Fletcher, a shortstop for the Philadelphia Phillies, stands about 10-15 feet to the left of second base. Fletcher has just thrown the baseball underhanded to second base where Goldie Rapp, another player for the Phillies, stands covering it. Rapp's right foot is touching the base while his left is in the air as he begins to turn his body towards first base in order to throw the baseball there.
