The Belmont School

'This historic building is my home. It was once a school, but has been converted into condominiums keeping most of the architectural details on the exterior and in the interior halls and stairways. From many stories that I have heard from people who went to school here, it was a happy place. I even had the opportunity to interview probably the most famous alum, Frank Stella. I am on the board of Malden Arts. This social-distancing pandemic summer of 2020, we have featured famous Maldonians each week with a bio, family activities, and a walking tour that anchors that person to the community. For Frank Stella week, the Belmont School was on the walking tour!'
