The truth of the work, the fact that it has a real formality, gives it truth. “These pieces are from a mind that has organized space, has considered color, has considered composition, has considered proportion, unity, and harmony. It’s my language but as a viewer, it is not your language until you begin to deconstruct it and you can see how the artist made these structures for me to enter and speculate about.”
