This lantern slide shows an archery event that took place during the International YMCA College’s (now Springfield College) first Freshman Camp in 1930. The freshmen are wearing only shorts and standing in two parallel rows. The students in the first row have their bows drawn while the students in the second are holding spare arrows. In the back right corner is a man who may be the coach.
