In Selma, the arts are alive and well thanks to a faithful few trying to inspire and encourage young people into becoming artists themselves. Working in schools and at the Selma Youth Development Center, these individuals teach children about poetry, song writing, storytelling, dance, art, and more. Their goal is not only to inpsire them to become artists, but also to help them build higher self esteem and to show them how they can share their gifts. A series that focuses on bringing to life the inspiring stores and empowering characters that have helped form Alabama's past and are working to shape its future.
